Prices are set by the individual listers. You're welcome to discuss terms directly with them — especially for long-term stays.
Can I filter for pet-friendly rentals?
Yes — use the 🐾 Pets OK toggle in the search bar to show only listings that accept pets.
What are the zones?
Zones are the neighbourhoods and areas in and around Puerto Escondido — from Zicatela's surf strip to the hilltop views of Rinconada. Each zone page has a guide to help you decide.
How do I know if a listing is available?
This platform does not manage availability calendars — contact the lister directly to confirm dates and terms.
Is there a booking or payment system?
Not yet. RentaPuertoEscondido is a marketplace that connects renters and listers. All bookings and payments are arranged directly between both parties.

RentaPuertoEscondido is a neutral listing platform — we connect renters and property listers but we do not own, manage, promote, verify, or endorse any listing. We are not a party to any rental agreement and accept no responsibility for the accuracy of listing information, the condition of properties, or any disputes that may arise between renters and listers. All transactions, agreements, and communications are solely between the renter and the lister. Use your own judgment and due diligence before committing to any rental.
What is the Rental Requests?
The Rental Requests lets renters post rental requests publicly. You describe when you're arriving, how long you're staying, your budget, and your preferred neighborhoods. Listers browse the board and reach out directly if they have something that fits — your contact details stay private and are only shared when a lister responds.
How do I post a rental request?
Create a free renter account (choose 'Find a rental' at signup), then go to the Rental Requests and fill out the short request form. Your request stays active for 7 days — you'll get an email each time a lister responds. You can close your request early once you've found your place.
I'm a lister — how do I respond to rental requests?
Visit the Rental Requests (also linked from your dashboard under Broadcasts). Browse active requests and click 'I have a match' on any that fit your listing. Select the listing to share, and the renter will receive an email with the link and your contact details. You can also manage notification settings from your dashboard.
